Over 20 years experience in the production of television graphics, from conception, to the production of the individual components (including 3D elements), to the final composited final. Well-versed with all major graphic packages for the Macintosh, including the Adobe Creative Suite, and especially After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Flash.

Very knowledgeable in website production, utilizing HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Flash, and PHP technologies. I'm a great believer in producing sites that support web standards, display information clearly, and degrade gracefully on less powerful browsers.

In the past I've learned all sorts of technologies; the Quantel Paintbox and Flash Harry, Avid Media Illusion, various Alias-Wavefront software packages, Kaleidoscope and Kadenza, Chyron Scribe, Chyron Infinit, Abekas A64, Diskus and A53D, Sony D1000 and 2100 VTRs, GVC 200 switcher, GVG 51E, and CMX editor. Working experience with the Avid Media Composer, Avid Symphony, Ampex ADO, Abekas A62, Chyron 4100, and the Ampex Century Series switcher.

I’m currently working for myself, providing my clients with a variety of services, and emphasizing good design solutions for their communication needs.

Responsible for the design, visualization, and implementation of opens, promotions, commercials and graphics for various clients of GPS. Production includes complete station packages for several Gannett-owned stations, as well as graphics for a wide variety of commercials.

Initiated the Digital Graphics division of GPS.

Designed and produced opens, promotions, and support graphics for TBS, TNT, CNN, Headline News, as well as sales-oriented divisions of Turner. Projects entailed complete package design involving the creation of 2D and 3D elements, animation design, complex layering techniques, production design, set design, logo creation, and implementation.

Responsible for establishing the Wavefront/3D capabilities of Turner Production Graphics.

Created original broadcast logo design and electronic television graphics.

Responsibilities included the maintenance of client packages and the creation of original animation. TVbD clients included more than 35 broadcast stations nationwide.
